SISTAR Announces “Give It to Me” Cover Contest

Calling all dancers! Hot idol group SISTAR is holding a dance cover contest for their latest hit,”Give It to Me.” and wants you to participate. The group announced the contest with a video with English subtitles through their agency’s official YouTube channel.

To participate, simply upload a video of your dance cover for “Give It to Me” on YouTube and enter the URL atSISTAR’s official Facbook. You can dance as a solo or a group. The application period starts today and ends on July 14 (Korea time). The winners wil be determined by how many likes the video gets and by SISTAR themselves. The winners will be announced on July 19 and one winner will win the grand prize of autographed SISTAR’s album collection (“Push Push,” “Shady Girl,” ”How Dare You,” “So Cool,” “Alone,” “Loving U,” and “Give it to me”). One runner up team will win an autographed “Give It to Me” CD, a SISTAR Calendar  and a official SISTAR slogan.

Yoo Seung Woo Does Acoustic Cover of SISTAR’s “Give It to Me”

The season 4 darling of ‘Super Star K” who recently made his official debut, Yoo Seung Woo, shared a video of his acoustic cover of SISTAR’s “Give It to Me” through the official CJ E&M Youtube channel.

In the video Yoo Seung Woo, looking adorable in his light colored bowl cut,  sits in front of an orange bus and shows off his guitar skills as he interprets “Give It to Me” in his own acoustic style. He keeps up with the fast pace and high notes of the song, while singing it in his own style. Fans of either Yoo Seung Woo or SISTAR will enjoy this young singer’s rendition.

SISTAR’s Bora Looks Elegant and Sophisticated for “Allure”

SISTAR’s Bora has shed her usual tomboy image for the May issue of “Allure Korea” magazine.

In the photos released by the beauty and fashion magazine, Bora is a picture of classic beauty, looking luxuriously feminine in black and white lace dresses and high-fashion hairstyles.

In the supplementary interview for the magazine, Bora discussed her usual makeup style, her fitness and skin care regimes, as well as her ideal marriage-partner. 

SISTAR19 Makes Their Comeback Performance on Music Core

SISTAR19 makes their highly anticipated comeback this week with their first mini album “Gone, Not Around Any Longer.” Tonight they made their Music Core comeback performance and performed their title track.

“Gone, Not Around Any Longer” was produced by Brave Brothers, who had made a few of SISTAR‘s previous hits such as “Push Push,” “So Cool” and “Alone.”

Baru-baru ini, terungkap bahwa Sistar Hyorin dikenal sebagai “idola” dengan kemampuan menyanyi terbaik di antara penyanyi lainnya.

Dalam episode 21 November dari cable channel MBC Everyone’s Weekly Idol, peringkat penyanyi “idola” dengan kemampuan menyanyi terbaik yang dipilih oleh penyanyi “idola” sendiri, dan daftar ini telah terungkap.

Teen Top Niel, A Pink Eunji, dan B2ST Yo Seop, yang semuanya dikenal sebagai vokalis utama dari grup mereka, bersaing untuk peringkat teratas.

Namun, Sistar Hyorin meraih suara terbanyak. Super Junior Kyuhyun memuji dia mengatakan, “Dia sangat pandai menari dan menyanyi.”
B2ST Hyung Seung juga memilih Hyorin dan berkata, “Saya ingin memberikan andil besar untuk kemampuan bernyanyi yang sangat baik Hyorin.”

Sebelumnya pada Weekly Idol, Hyorin juga memenangkan suara terbanyak saat orang-orang ditanya tentang, ” ‘idola’ yang akan kalian rekomendasikan untuk muncul dalam I Am A Singer Season 2?”

Netizens yang melihat peringkat berkomentar: “Tidak heran banyak orang memilih Hyorin.” “Saya tidak bisa tidak setuju dengan mereka”. “Sistar adalah yang terbaik.”

Today’s show was guided by none other than a special set of emcees, consisting of SECRET’sSunhwa & Zinger + ZE:A’s Kwanghee & Siwan, who displayed their fun and dorky aegyo.
